Uppsala University, founded in 1477, is the oldest university in Scandinavia. The combination of cultural heritage, an easily accessible location, and the lively atmosphere of a city with 40,000 students make Uppsala a great place to hold a conference.
The conference will take place in the University Main Building (“Universitetshuset”). It is located in the center of Uppsala, close to the cathedral, and in walking distance to hotels and restaurants. Have a look at the building's floor plans to find out where the individual sessions will take place.
Lots of useful local information and the full conference program can also be found in the conference brochure (which will be included in your registration pack).
If you are interested in the history of this building from the 1880s, have a look at the university web site.
As our conference takes place in a historic building, please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building and food and drinks cannot be taken into the auditoria.
