The language of the conference is English.
Wireless network access is available at the conference venue and in several other places throughout Uppsala via Eduroam. The following map shows Eduroam access points.
Sweden uses 230V/50Hz “Europlugs” (Type C and F on this chart).
The Swedish monetary unit is the Swedish krona (SEK), divided into 100 öre. In June 2013 ; Euro 1=SEK 9, USD 1=SEK 6,5, GBP 1=SEK 10. Major credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. There are several currency exchange offices and cash dispensers at Stockholm Arlanda International Airport and in Uppsala.
Climate and Clothing
The average temperature in Uppsala in September is 7.1 °C (low) to 15 °C (high). The Celsius temperature scale was in fact named after Anders Celsius, a professor at Uppsala University. There are, on average, 14 days with some rainfall in September, with a total average amount of 58 mm for the month. Emergency Phone Numbers
If you need to call an ambulance, the police, or the fire brigade, use the central emergency number 112 from any fixed line or mobile phone.

Smoking is prohibited in any public indoor establishment. This includes restaurants and bars as well as the conference venue.
Passport and Visas
Delegates are advised to contact the nearest embassy, consulate or travel agency for information about the passport and visa requirements from their country for entry to Sweden.
If you need an invitation letter for visa purposes, then write in due time to firstname.lastname@example.org. To avoid visa fraud, unfortunately we have to ask you to provide the following information:
- The title of a paper that you authored and that was accepted at this conference or one of its workshops;
- or the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of at least one publication in scope of the CP conference series;
- or a reference letter from a member of the Association for Constraint Programming.
The organisers are not liable for any claims for damages and/or losses if the entire conference has to be cancelled due to a force majeure incident.
The organisers are not liable for damages and/or losses of any kind which may be incurred by the conference delegates or by any other individuals accompanying them, both during the official activities as well as going to/from the conference. Delegates are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
Insurance and Vaccinations
The registration fee does not cover insurance for the delegates. The organisers recommend that delegates take out insurance in their home country to cover pre-journey cancellation for personal reasons and necessary insurance to cover accidents, medical expenses and loss of personal belongings during the visit. No vaccinations are needed when visiting Sweden.
